FREEHOLD, NJ — As Miss New Jersey Jade Glab continues on her whirlwind journey throughout the state in preparation for the Miss America competition, she recently “came home” to Monmouth County, where she was recognized by the Board of Freeholders.
The Belmar resident was presented by the board with a certificate of recognition for being crowned Miss New Jersey 2019.
Glab became Miss Jersey on June 15 at Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, chosen from an original field of 28. The 19-year-old is a graduate of Belmar Elementary School, Red Bank Regional High School and Brookdale Community College, Lincroft.
The 2020 Miss America Competition will be aired live at 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 19 on NBC. It is being held this year at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn.
