Massive Recall of Kidde Fire Extinguishers Announced

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Kidde is recalling 40 million fire extinguishers manufactured between January 1973 through August 2017. The affected extinguishers, which are designed primarily for use in homes, vehicles and boats, can become clogged or fail to discharge during a fire.

Autopsy Results Show Former Belmar Man Drowned Off LBI

TRENTON, NJ — Autopsy results of the former Belmar man whose body was recovered off Long Beach Island last month reveal he died of drowning, according to the New Jersey State Police.

There were no indications of injuries to the body of Christopher Lucin, 30, according to a state police spokesman, adding that the investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death will continue.
