After the Nor'easter: What Belmar, Lake Como Residents Need to Know

BELMAR/LAKE COMO, NJ — With the nor’easter dumping an unofficial total of about 10 inches of snow in Belmar and Lake Como, the dig-out and melting now begins.

As public works crews in both Belmar and Lake Como continue to plow and clear streets, snowstorm regulations remain in effect. Here’s the latest snow-related news in both towns for today, March 22.

UPDATE: Belmar Schools Closed on Thursday, March 22

BELMAR, NJ — Belmar Elementary School will be closed today, March 22. All extracurricular activities are canceled as well.

The rotation of specials for students will be adjusted accordingly, and Friday, March 23 will be a No. 2 day. Please adjust your calendars.

Also closed will be St. Rose Grammar School and St. Rose High School in Belmar.

Belmar and Sending District Schools on Delayed Opening

BELMAR, NJ — Due to last night's snowfall, Belmar and sending district schools are opening a bit later this morning,  March 22.
