Fulfilling their promise, the Rotary Club of Berkeley Heights today presented a check for $5,000 to the Berkeley Heights Volunteer Rescue Squad. These funds were one of the major results of the 8th Annual Rubber Ducky Festival, held on June 11th. At that time, the Rotary Club made the commitment that the first $5,000 of receipts after all expenses would go to the Rescue Squad. Summit Medical Group has been the major sponsor of the Rubber Ducky Festival, since 2007.
