BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The Governor Livingston Highlander Marching Band will be hosting it’s annual Band Basket Raffle on Friday March 7th, 2014 at 6:00pm at Governor Livingston High School, 175 Watching Blvd., Berkeley Heights, NJ.

Please come out and support the award winning Highlander Marching Band at this fun annual event. This is a family friendly, tricky-tray style, event at which participants bid for items using purchased tickets.

This year’s prizes include 4 Disney Park Hopper Passes, Bagels for a year from Panera Bread, Family passes to SeaWorld, Wheel of Fortune photos & panel autographed by Pat Sajak & Vanna White, a Flat Screen HDTV and hundreds of other valuable items plus a 50/50 cash draw!

Admission includes a complimentary block of tickets, a beverage & a dessert. Doors open at 6pm, draw is at 8pm. Snow date is 3/8. Displayed items and additional ticket sales are in the Gym. The tickets are drawn in the Cafeteria as you socialize with your friends, enjoy your dessert, and have students in traditional Scottish kilts personally deliver your winnings!

The Highlander Marching Band raises funds to support music opportunities for the students including trips, clinics, and to run their annual marching band pageant in the fall. In 2014 the band will visit Edinburgh, Scotland. This destination is near the birthplace of Robert Livingston, the grandfather of NJ's first governor, William Livingston, from which the school gets their name.
