BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ – Head over to Memorial Park each Wednesday to enjoy the Free Summer Concerts series, held from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Bring the whole family and don’t forget the blankets and lawn chairs—the corner of Park and Plainfield avenues will be the place to be this summer.
The BH Special Events Committee is excited to present the 2019 Free Summer Concerts series, along with tons of activities to go along with the concerts. Free drawings for gift cards, the family photo contest and free popcorn and water will be just a few of the many highlights of this season’s concert series. The Grain & Cane Gastrotruck will also provide food to purchase for concert-goers,
This year’s concert series season sponsors include Berkeley Aquatic Club, BH Rotary Club, Grain & Cane, Smith Chiropractic Foundation and Taylor Rental.
Concerts are scheduled for the following Wednesday evenings:
- July 24 - Parrot Beach - "Fins up cause it's 5 o'clock somewhere" sponsored by Peak Medical
- July 31 - Idol Kings - Best of Tom Petty, John Cougar Mellencamp & Others sponsored by Pearly Whites and eMedical Urgent Care
- August 7 - 52ndStreet Band (Billy Joel tribute band) - Sepcial 2nd Annual First Responder Concer/Festival in conjunction with BHPD, BHFD & BHRS sponsored by Anything Floral, eMedical, Excel Physical Therapy, Delicious Heights, Rita's, BH YMCA. The event includes free food and activities including Celebrity Dunk-Tank.
- August 14 - Day Trippers: Best of Beatles -- Featuring BH Locals and GLHS graduates sponsored by Primrose School of Berkeley Heights.
Each year, TAPinto Berkeley Heights and Smith Chiropractic sponsor The Summer Concert Series Photo Contest. Winners are randomly selected at the end of the season and will receive $100 gift certificate to Goodman's Restaurant and Deli and Delicious Heights.
