SUMMIT, NJ - The Alliance Repertory Theatre Company will present “Ears On A Beatle” by Mark St. Germain opening April 8 at MONDO. Directed by Joseph Porter, production tells the story is about the wire tapping and surveillance of John Lennon leading up to and beyond the 1972 Presidential election.

New Jersey playwright Mark St. Germain premiered “Ears on a Beatle” at the Barrington Stage Company in 2003. Based on actual FBI documents declassified through the Freedom of Information Act and filled with humor and heartbreak, the play explores the personal relationship between the two agents from the early seventies until Lennon's death in 1981.

“Ears on a Beatle” runs April 8-23, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 p.m. with a Sunday dinner/theater package with J B Winberie's on Sunday April 17 at 7 p.m. There is also a performance on April 21 at 8 p.m..
