The Benjamin R. Chirls Scholarship is named in memory of Benjamin R. Chirls, a kidney recipient and strong advocate for organ and tissue donation.

“We are pleased to be able to award this scholarship annually to a New Jersey student who has been impacted in some way by organ and tissue donation and transplantation,” said Elisse Glennon, executive director of the NJ Sharing Network Foundation. “By doing so, we help further the college education of a student who has demonstrated a commitment to organ donation awareness and helping others.”
