SUMMIT, NJ - Kids got some pent up energy from being 'shut-in' during the winter months? The Summit Area YMCA is allowing children to enjoy open-play in their spacious indoor gymnasium through a eight-week session beginning January 4.
The 'indoor playground' is a great opportunity for children to get physical activity when it’s too chilly or inclement to do so outside! It also provides a chance to meet neighbors and quality social time.
The Summit Y's open gym program, which runs from 10:15 - 11 a.m. through February 22, will be filled with balls, hula hoops, riding toys, obstacle courses and more. Participants can even bring a snack to enjoy in the lobby with their friends.
Program cost is $88 for members and $129 for Community Members, with registration available by visiting thesay.org/homeschool. Space is limited. For more information, call Maria Marinaccio at 908-273-3330, ext. 1166 or via email@example.com.
The Summit Area YMCA is located at 67 Maple Street.
