BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - In their first year as a travel baseball squad, the Berkeley Heights 8u team closed their season as champions of the New Providence Green League on Friday, July 29.

The team kicked off the playoffs with a 10-0 victory over Florham Park. They followed that win with a very competitive semi-final game against top seeded Millburn, resulting in a 3-1 win. Friday’s final game against Bridgewater was an impressive 11-1 win leading the boys to the championship title.

Following a ceremonious trophy distribution, the team enjoyed a celebratory lap around the bases.
