The Berkeley Heights Community Pool at the YMCA is a seasonal facility that has been serving Berkeley Heights and the surrounding communities since 1964.  The Community Pool offers an Olympic-size swimming pool featuring two diving boards and a large slide.  We also have a baby pool for our youngest swimmers.

Our facility is staffed with lifeguards trained in the American Red Cross Lifeguarding program, as well as swim instructors who have been trained in the American Red Cross Water Safety Instruction program.

In addition to our two pools, The Berkeley Heights Community Pool at the YMCA has beautiful grounds with a large upper picnic area on our hill. There is also a beach volleyball court, tennis and basketball courts, as well as horseshoes, bocce ball, and various painted deck games for our members to enjoy.  We provide comfortable lounge, Adirondack, and rocking chairs for all members and there is a snack bar facility as well.

We have a swim lesson program for ages three and up, as well as a competitive summer swim team that competes against other local towns throughout northern and central New Jersey.

The Berkeley Heights Community Pool at the YMCA operates independently from the Township of Berkeley Heights and is under the management of the Summit Area YMCA.  For more information or to register for a membership, visit our website, www.bhcpool.com.
