BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - A group of Berkeley Heights eighth-grade Girl Scouts from Troop 40488 participated in an Operation Sandwich-making event to support Saint Joseph's Social Service Center in Elizabeth.
The girls prepared and delivered the sandwiches as a contribution to the ongoing program. The scouts wrote one word messages on each sandwich in hope that they would spread love and kindness one sandwich at a time.
