BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The Berkeley Heights Police Youth Academy, a program that allows the youth of the community to interact with law enforcement officers from around the region, is accepting registrations for the 2017 summer program .

The officers of the Berkeley Heights Police Department are the cornerstone of the Youth Academy program. This program intends to develop a close relationship between law enforcement and the young people of our township in a positive atmosphere focused on learning. In addition to the members of the BHPD, other agencies will educate and inform the program cadets. This program will provide insight on local, state, and federal officers.

2017 Youth Academy Dates:

  • Grades 8-12, July 10 through July 14, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Grades 2-4, July 17 through July 21, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Grades 5-7, July 24 through July 28, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Grades 5-8, July 31 through Aug 4, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Returning Cadets Week) 

Registration Fee: $40.00
