BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The Rotary Club of Berkeley Heights has roared into action once again. Joining the Rotary Club as 24th current member (and fourth this year) is Dwayne Fraser, Vice President and Manager of ConnectOne Bank-Berkeley Heights.
At the same meeting, the Rotary Club received another citation--its third in as many years--from the International Fellowship of Scouting Rotarians for exceptional humanitarian actions and community service. Third, fellow Rotarian--a member of the Rotary Club of Fanwood/Scotch Plains--Hedy Knapp, President and Owner of Knapp Paperwork Partners, of Westfield, delivered a cautionary presentation on how to protect against current insidious telephone scams and online- and phone-based identity theft.
The Berkeley Heights Rotary Club is a group of local business-people, professionals, and community leaders working to aid and strengthen our community and the world. Meetings are held at lunch time on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at The Chimney Rock Inn, 342 Valley Road, Gillette. Prix fixe lunches are $20 (cash or check) and all meetings are open to all visitors, always. For information visit BHRotary.com or call 908-447-6290.
