BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Residents who are veterans and those currently serving are invited to participate in the Hometown Heroes Banners project. The banners are the next step in "Operation We Remember," which seeks to educate the community about those residents who are veterans and those currently serving. The deadline to participate in the Hometown Heroes Banners project is Monday, April 10, 2017.
The Veterans Memorial Renewal Committee invites those who are residents of Berkeley Heights who have served in the military; veterans, living or deceased, or who are currently serving; those who call VFW Post 6259 home in the area; as well as any other military person who has lived in Berkeley Heights or worked here.

Funding for the project has been generously donated by an individual who wanted to honor his own father who served in the Korean War.
The Veterans Memorial Renewal Committee has been incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, meaning that all gifts are tax-deductible. Donations for the continued maintenance of the Veterans Memorial Park would be greatly appreciated and can be done online at BHMemorialPark.com or sent/made payable to Memorial Park Renewal Committee 29 Park Ave BH 07922.
