Events Will Include STEM, Shooting Sports, Games and More!

Time for the whole family to experience adventure this summer!  Have some free summer evenings and ready for a summer evening of family fun?!  Families are invited to attend any of the Family Adventure Nights at Camp Wheeler or Watchung Day Camp at no cost. Program consists of archery shooting, STEM activities, BB shooting, aquatics, campfire, and S’mores making. The program is for boys and girls entering kindergarten to fifth grade.  The first night is free to children not enrolled in the Cub Scout program. Attend more than one night and the cost is $5 per child.

  • Wednesday, 08-01-2018, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Camp Wheeler (750 Waterloo Rd, Stanhope, NJ 07874) with BB and archery shooting sports activities.
  • Thursday, 08-02-18, 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Watchung Day Camp (452 New Providence Rd, Mountainside, NJ 07092) with BB and archery shooting sports activities and a family campfire to follow.

Register Here: .  Prior registration is highly recommended. Children (ages 5-11) who are not Cub Scouts attend for free.  Current Scouts are $5 each.  Current Scouts who bring a friend not currently registered in a Cub Scout pack attend for free.

The event is sponsored by the membership team of the local Patriots’ Path Council Boy Scouts of America.  Parents are required to attend with their child or have another parent assigned to supervise their child.
