ROCKAWAY, NJ - Gov. Livingston boys fencing team opened the season on the road with an 18-9 victory over Morris Knolls on Friday, clinching at the end of Round 2. The team got off to an early lead and maintained it throughout the 27 bouts.

Foil fencers dominated 8-1, with Alton Grossman and Zhizhuo Zhou both 3 - 0. Epee fencer Louis Cantor also won 3 - 0. While GL does not have a separate JV team, freshmen fencers also had a strong showing against Morris Knolls' JV team in separate demonstration bouts.
