PLAINFIELD, NJ - The Gov. Livingston boys soccer team came to play in Plainfield defeating the Cardinals, 4-1 Tuesday afternoon.

The Highlanders took an early lead when Josiah Crawford scored with a low drive from the edge of the penalty area. Crawford then doubled the Highlander lead with another well placed shot after a weaving solo run.

Plainfield pulled a goal back, firing into the roof of the net from close range, but Connor King restored the Highlanders two-goal cushion with a header right on the stroke of halftime.
