BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The Berkeley Heights Business and Civic and the Police Department have teamed up to catch kids in the act -- of wearing face masks that is!
Berkeley Heights Police Officers are looking to catch kids in the act of masking up and will reward them on the spot with a $10 gift card to Dunkin or Starbucks. (Moms and Dads -- you may get rewarded for being caught in the act of masking up too!)
BH Cares program draws five winners from the community that have taken the pledge to wear a face covering around town, use social distancing when necessary and wash or sanitize your hands often. Taking this pledge shows that you care about the safety of our community and that you are doing your part to keep our local businesses open during this pandemic. Business gift cards and services have been donated.
Thanks to Dunkin Berkeley Heights, Starbucks at The Park [Embassy Suites] and Smith Chiropractic Foundation, BH Cares has extended the program to draw five student winners to be awarded a $10 gift card to Dunkin or Starbucks.
Take the Pledge and help keep our downtown and parks open and safe by masking up and practicing social distancing.
