BASKING RIDGE, N.J. — The staff at Lord Stirling Stable will present “Meet the Ponies,” a program designed for horse enthusiasts age 7 to 9 years.

The session is scheduled for Saturday, July 28 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. at the Stable located at 256 South Maple Avenue in Basking Ridge, N.J.

The program is ideal for individual non-riders and riders, scout troops and other youth groups.

Participants will experience hands-on interaction with ponies. Under the guidance of experienced Lord Stirling Stable staff, students will be able to groom a pony, learn about what ponies eat, and experience the work involved in taking care of a pony. Participants will also take part in a pony ride.

The fee is $15 per child and $10 for each additional sibling in the same age group.
