The Summit Jewish Community Center will offer two courses on Wednesday mornings beginning on February 24 at the New Providence Public Library, 377 Elkwood Ave, New Providence, NJ 07974 (908) 665-0311.

Returning for the spring semester will be Gilbert Kahn, Professor of political science at Kean University and Rabbi Avi Friedman of the SJCC. Dr. Kahn will offer three sessions on current events (Feb. 24, Mar. 3 and 10) and three later sessions on the theme "The United States and Israel: A Friendship in the Best of Times and the Worst of Times." (Mar. 17 and 24 and April14)

All meetings will run from 9:15 to 10:15 am.

Rabbi Friedman will offer a course on the same dates from 10:30 to 11:30. The course theme is "The Most Influential Personalities in Jewish History."
