District Director of Health, Physical Education and Athletics Ann Clifton to Stay in Berkeley Heights

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ – Ann Clifton, the director of health, physical education and athletics will stay in the Berkeley Heights School District. The Board of Education voted to rescind the acceptance of her resignation at the June 7 meeting.

The board had accepted Clifton’s resignation from her position at the May 10 meeting.

Twelve days later, on May 22, a report in The Citizen of Morris County of a Mountain Lakes School District School Board meeting included the announcement “Of note, the district appointed new Athletic Director Ann Clifton.” 

A call to Ms. Clifton was not immediately returned.

WATCHUNG, NJ -The Watchung Borough Council voted on Thursday night  to settle its third round affordable housing obligation mandated by the state of New Jersey. Watchung Borough’s immunity from builder's remedy lawsuits  expires on June 30.
