Eisenberger Family Announced Winner of Summer Concert Series Photo Contest

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The Eisenberger family wins the sixth annual Berkeley Heights Summer Concert Series Photo Contest held by the Suburban Chamber of Commerce of Berkeley Heights partnered with TAPinto Berkeley Heights.  Dr. Patrick Smith, of Smith Chiropractic [as the contest sponsor], presented Candice and Jessie Eisenberger a $100 gift certificate to Goodman's Restaurant and Deli.  

The Free Concerts in the Park series kicks off this Wednesday, July 19 with Nashville Now, sponsored by the Berkeley Heights YMCA and Anything Floral. 

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy the concert series at Memorial Park located at the corner of Park and Plainfield avenues. Kids can also enjoy the newly installed playground at the park. 

Eisenberger, a 12 year resident of Berkeley Heights, said, "I've noticed significant changes with the community and family activities -- trying to get people out, it's great. -- We love the concerts, my kids love it."

The Suburban Chamber of Commerce of Berkeley Heights is again looking forward to partnering with the Special Events Committee and the Recreation Commission in presenting the 2017 Free Summer Concert Series with lots more free drawings including gift cards from Delicious Heights , Goodman's Restaurant and Deli and Giovanni's Bistro and Bar and exciting offers from local businesses, as well as free popcorn and water and the family photo contest.  New this year, the Grain and Cane Gastrotruck will be a fixture at the concerts serving up their artisan burgers and hand cut fries among other menu selections.

This year's concert series season sponsors include Suburban Chamber of Commerce, Berkeley Aquatic Club, Smith Chiropractic Foundation and the Rotary Club of Berkeley Heights.

Concerts are scheduled for the following Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

  • July 19 -- Nashville Now
  • July 26 -- Beginnings (Chicago Tribute) with horn section.
  • Aug. 2 -- 52nd Street Band (Billy Joel tribute band)
  • Aug. 9 -- Beatlemania Again (two acts with full original costumes, sing along to all favorites.)
