The students of Faith Nursery School in New Providence have contributed health kits to the people of Haiti through Lutheran World Relief.

In response to the massive earthquake in Haiti in January 2010, which left hundreds of thousands of persons homeless, Lutheran World Relief is providing kits of personal hygiene items to displaced persons.

It is not unusual for the children of Faith Nursery School to help people less fortunate than themselves. The children bake cornbread for a soup kitchen in Newark, contribute food to a Thanksgiving collection for needy families, buy Christmas gifts of clothes and toys for children with special needs and participate in the Crop Walk for hunger.

Faith Nursery School is located at 524 South Street in New Providence. It is now registering children for morning classes of 2 ½ year olds on Monday and Wednesday, of 3 year olds on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and of pre-k children on Monday through Friday.
