WESTFIELD, NJ—Thousands of people are expected to visit Downtown Westfield this Sunday, Sept. 24, when the Greater Westfield Chamber of Commerce hosts its 28th annual FestiFall street fair from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
More than 230 local businesses, vendors and food trucks are planning to participate, according to GWACC Executive Director Gene Jannotti. There will be a kid’s zone with rides and games and entertainment throughout the day on the main stage on Elm Street, culminating with classic rock/country music group High Strung at 4 p.m.
“This Sunday will be a great day in Westfield,” Jannotti said. “The weather will be summer-like and fun will be had by everyone. Come on out with your family and enjoy yourself.”
Elm Street, Quimby Street, Broad Street and Prospect Street downtown will be closed to vehicular traffic. There will be plenty of free parking in the various town parking lots and on all the side streets, Jannotti noted.
FestiFall takes place rain or shine.
