BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Friends of 6259 held its first informational meeting on March 1 at the VFW Post on Locust Avenue.
The evening began with Commander Tom Lombardi and Adjutant Stephen Falk presenting several awards including one for outstanding service to Dr. Patrick Smith for "meritorious and distinguished service in furthering the aims and ideals of the VFW."
Commander Lombardi and Adjutant Falk then shared with fellow Veterans and guests the meaning of military service and its lifelong impact on themselves and to our Veterans. Adjutant Falk presented the ideas and hopes of the newly forming Friends of 6259.
