BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Berkeley Heights Fire Truck #1 led the procession down Plainfield Avenue as people gathered today to remember retired Firefighter Philip Masullo who passed away on Saturday, Aug. 10.  Uniformed firefighters carried the casket draped with an American flag into the funeral mass held at Little Flower Church.

Philip Masullo was a lifelong resident of Berkeley Heights.  He was a 36-year member of the Berkeley Heights Volunteer Fire Department, father of Firefighter William Masullo.  Philip has also served as both game warden and forest fire warden for the State of New Jersey.  He was a member of Mount Carmel Society in Berkeley Heights and the Berkeley Heights Senior Citizens.
