BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Gabriele Fitness invited their clients to a sneak peak reception the eve of their Saturday opening of their new 10,000 square foot facility on Industrial Road in Berkeley Heights. Although owners Vince and Vanessa Gabriele are nostalgic about the move, they are excited about what they can accomplish by almost doubling the space of their Locust Avenue facility.

While Vince Gabriele was sad to leave Locust Avenue, where it all began 9 years ago, he knows he is moving to the facility of his dreams. "With the great team we have built over time, we have had this vision for a long time," said Gabriele. Since 2015, to be exact, when he wrote down a vision and it came together with the help of his team.

"As we move down the street into the facility of my dreams, we are still here -- doing the same thing we always did, helping people transform their life," said Gabriele. --  "When helping people turned into changing people's lives, that really was something I could get behind," he said of growing his business from training out of his truck in a parking lot to the success it is today.

He is sincerely appreciative to his clients, employees and the many people that have attended his various seminars over the past decade. "There is no way this could happen without the people in this room. Thank you for so many years of dedication," he said at the opening reception held last Friday night.  "I'm so grateful to those people that have been here for so long."

Gabriele's loyal clients tell him constantly how great his team is --  and Friday's reception was their way of saying "Thanks." "We are so grateful to you -- for giving us the best job in the world. We get to show up here every day and help you -- to give you a healthier, longer life that you can enjoy with your family," said Gabriele.

The details of the new facility are the creation of Gabriele's sister Andrea Gabriele Vasady-Kovacs. "What she has in her vision has helped this place become unreal," said Vanessa Gabriele. "If it wasn't for her thoughts, her ideas, her love, her time, her energy, her passion -- this place would not be anything like it is today. We give our all to Andrea -- thank you so much."

A few highlights of the brand new facility include:

  • 4,000 square foot small group personal training zone to continue the program GFP is known for in the area -- personalized service in a positive safe environment for a fraction of the cost of 1-1 personal training;
  • 2,000 square foot turf field for their Fat Blast Class, a high energy group fitness class that is like no other in the area;
  • Both areas will also help middle school and high school athletes get stronger and faster in the afternoon hours;
  • A cardio and weight training area for members to get additional workouts on their own;
  • A Pilates room with multiple reformers for classes;
  • A full service in-house massage therapist;
  • Fascial Stretch Therapy;
  • Cryotherapy by Revivify, who has an additional location in Summit;
  • Men and women's locker rooms with showers and lockers;
  • The GFP Store featuring supplements, GFP clothing line, ready to drink protein shakes, green smoothies, fresh premium coffee and home equipment all sold on premises;
  • The reception area welcoming members and non members to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee or a shake and get charged from the positive energy that this place gives out.

Don’t Make These Three Mistakes About Social Security

Social Security has been around for decades and it’s not about to disappear. Why? Social Security is not an entitlement ("gift") that can be taken away - it’s a forced savings scheme that Americans pay into in their working years in order to secure a pension for life. Ideally, Social Security should not be your sole source of income in retirement but even comfortable ...
