Prom Weekend Is Coming! Get the facts...BEFORE...the prom to keep your child SAFE!
Bob Segear, Student Assistance Counselor at Gov. Livingston is hosting a presentation on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the GLHS Cafeteria.
Every Spring thousands of New Jersey high school students attend their school proms. Afterwards, many students head to the New Jersey shore to celebrate. We have all heard stories of how an event and weekend that should create beautiful memories instead ends in tragedy and even death.
Segear will lead a frank discussion about what parents and teens should know and do, including:
- What you should do as a parent
- What to ask when booking a Limo or a Hotel
- What really goes on at the shore
- Tips to avoid Arrest and Eviction!
Seagear has spent his career helping communities, schools, families, and children. He is a retired Juvenile Detective with over 30 years experience as a police officer who currently works in the New Jersey school system as a Certified Substance Awareness Coordinator/Student Assistance Counselor.
