The coaches of GL GIrls and Boys Tennis Teams will be hosting the first ever "GLHS Tennis Free Clinic / Open House". All elementary and middle school kids and their families are welcome to attend free of charge. Players of all ages and abilities are welcome and will be grouped accordingly. The coaches of both the GL JV and Varsity teams along with all the players and alumni with be hosting this event to encourage and promote the sport of tennis in Berkeley Heights and Mountainside. The event will take place on Saturday June 18th from 3-5 pm at Columbia Park Tennis Courts in Berkeley Heights. The plan is for members of the boys and girls varsity teams and the Coaches of JV and Varsity to actively participate in a free clinic.
Members of the current boys and girls teams will be "court leaders" and will lead each court in the games and activities planned. The Coaches will be roaming the courts supervising the activities and also take the time to talk with the parents of these youngsters about any questions they have about high school tennis, where kids can get lessons, what they can do to prepare for high school tennis, etc. The day will be free to attend for the public. Players of all ages (5 - 14) and abilities are welcome and will be grouped according to ability. There will be ice pops after the open house and all kids in attendance will get a small prize for their participation. So come for a fun, filled afternoon to meet, greet and play tennis with the coaches and players of GLHS Boys and Girls Tennis.

Who: All elementary school and middle school tennis players and their families.
(You do not have to be from Berkeley Heights or Mountainside to attend)

Tennis balls will be provided for the day.
Please bring your own tennis racket, water bottle and sunscreen!
