Welcome warmer weather with an insider’s look at eight private gardens in Chatham Borough and Township. The biannual Glorious Garden Tour, which benefits the Senior Center of the Chathams, will offer a sneak peek at some of Chatham’s loveliest gardens, providing ideas and inspiration you can take home. Some are impressive professionally landscaped properties, while several of the gardens are designed and cared for by the homeowners themselves.

The weekend festivities kick off with a festive cocktail party at a beautiful Chatham Township home on Friday, June 1st from 6 to 9pm, followed by the garden tour on Saturday, June 2nd from 10am to 4pm. The cost of the garden tour is $40 in advance, and $45 the day of the tour.  The cocktail party is $50 per person.  All area residents with an appreciation of gardening are invited to support this fundraiser.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.chathamseniorcenter.org or in person at the Senior Center of the Chathams, 58 Meyersville Road (on the lower level of the Chatham Township Municipal Building). Walkin tickets on June 2nd will be for sale at the Chatham Borough Gazebo at 10 am. For more information call (973) 635-4565.
