ROCKAWAY, NJ -  Gov. Livingston Boys Lacrosse opened away with a 9-7 win against Morris Hills in Rockaway on Wednesday.

Senior Brian Hutton scored three goals with three assists; junior Matt Rothfeld, senior Max Toglia and junior Anthony Wong each scored two goals with one assist apiece; and senior Jesse Giambra recorded one assist. Senior Connor Budka led the team with 13 ground balls.

The Scarlet Nights out shot the Highlanders 17 to 16 with GL goalie Peter Krasny recording 10 saves in the victory. 

Gov. Livingston will travel to Old Bridge on Friday, March 27 with a 4 p.m. start. Their season home opener is set for Tuesday, March 31 at 4 p.m. against Morris Knolls.
