UNION, NJ - The No. 2 seed Gov. Livingston Junior Varsity Softball team captured their third consecutive Union County JV Championship defeating No. 1 seed Cranford 16-5, behind an explosive 5th inning that drove in 10 runs on Saturday at Kean University. The Lady Highlanders are 13-2 for the season.

The Lady Highlanders took an early 5-0 lead with two runs scored in the top of the second and three runs in the top of the third.  Cranford came back in the bottom of the third inning scoring three runs and continued to chip away at the Highlander's lead -- coming within one making it a 6-5 game at the end of four innings.
