BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Senior Night at Gov. Livingston High School granted an opportunity for the home crowd to see Sean Tomlinson, one of the Highlanders most prolific wrestlers, in action, with a pin fall victory over Karl Williams in 0:51 Wednesday night.
However, it also showcased a solid Scotch Plains-Fanwood side who claimed 8 winning bouts with five pins in the 42-29 Raider win.
"It was a great feeling to get the pin in front of my friends and family. My team needed me to get a pin and that's what I tried to do. Unfortunately we didn't win so it was bittersweet for me," said Tomlinson.
The Highlanders celebrated their seniors in a ceremony honoring their dedication and commitment to the sport. The six seniors honored were Sean Tomlinson, Mike Rhodes, Sam Burke, Spencer Marke, Chris Sergio, and John Stamler.
