Dr. Kim Coleman, the Director of the Morris-Union Jointure Commission will discuss the recent addition to the Commission’s multi-million facility in Warren plus the services provided out of the headquarters on Central Avenue in New Providence. The February 8 meeting for the Summit Old Guard is at 10 AM at the New Providence Municipal Center. The MUJC is a regional public school district providing services and programs to meet the needs of its 29 constituent school districts. Dr. Coleman is a long serving professional in the service of autistic children.
Following the regular program the Old Guard will have a Timely Topics discussion.
This month’s topic is: “Torture, Is it ever morally acceptable as an investigatory tool?”
All area 50-plus active men are invited to attend meetings of the Summit Area Old Guard on Tuesday mornings at the New Providence Municipal Center at 360 Elkwood Avenue. A coffee hour starts at 9:15 that is followed by a 10 AM short business meeting.
