Hal Daumé, Past President and Secretary of the Rotary Club of Berkeley Heights will be honored at the 7th Annual Berkeley Heights Good Scout Award Dinner. The Good Scout Award is bestowed annually to men and women who serve as exemplary role models for the youth of our area through their vocations and avocations and who live their lives according to the ideals of the Scout Oath and Law. Mr. Daumé is the Scouting Commissioner for Berkeley Heights and has spearheaded the recognition initiative for Eagle Scouts and Gold Award Girl Scouts along with being a recipient of the BSA Silver Beaver Award and the Rotarian Scouter Award. Also being honored with Hal Daumé are Mark Vicendese, Midge Vicendese, Andrew F. Moran and Mary Ann Walsh.
All of the recipients were chosen for their outstanding community service as evidenced by the interest and leadership they have given to many worthwhile organizations, as well as the respect and esteem in which they are held by their colleagues.
