BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The Berkeley Heights Street Fair will shut down Springfield Avenue between Plainfield and Snyder avenues from 10 a.m. to 5 a.m. for the sixth annual Summer Festival that highlights family friendly activities and vendors.  

This year's "Summer Festival" offers free carnival rides, touch-a-truck expo, a new improved beer garden hosted by Delicious Heights, Heights Has Talent show and more local businesses, organizations, and vendors will line the street. 

The inaugural “Heights Has Talent” show will be showcased on the Investors Bank main stage, donated by Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders. The Main Stage will feature local bands, musical groups, dance groups and martial artists. Seating will be available on Springfield Avenue.

11-12 – Missing Pieces - Rock band comprised of Courtney Auchter (Keys/Vox), Ed Kim (Guitar), Jim Skidmore (Guitar/Vox), Joe Franchino (Bass), Mike Chisolm (Drums/Vox).

12:10 - 12:30Doug Dietmann  - Modern rock,  pop and country

12:30 – 1:00 - Laura's Dance 

1:00 – 1:45  - Objects Of Reality (School of Rock) - comprised of Felipe Santos on Drums, Aidan Quigley on bass, guitar and vocals, Jack Osmond on bass, guitar and vocals, Marco Giambasitta on guitar.

2:00 – 3:00 – Day Trippers - Beatles Tribute Band comprised of John Ciampoli Jr., John Foote, Bob Stanton, Luis Toro, Danny Weiss

3:20 - 4:00 – Elefante Music & School of Performing Arts featuring performances by Rebecca Candeloro, Abby Mustacchi, Heather Sherry, Rose Stivalo. 

Talium will feature a taekwondo show. (Time will be posted when confirmed.)

The annual street fair is presented by the Suburban Chamber of Commerce. This year’s festival is sponsored by The Connell Company, the new Embassy Suites Hotel and Grain and Cane Restaurant. It is expected to draw nearly 20,000 people, according to Paul Neuwirth, owner of Taylor Rental and coordinator of this year’s event.
