Helping Returning Veterans

“Homes for Our Troops” is a non-profit organization dedicated to building specially adapted homes for service members who have been severely injured in combat operations since September 11, 2001. All homes are built at no cost to the veteran through the generous support of individuals, foundations, and corporate contributors. The organization has received a Four Star Rating from Charity Navigator. Since its founding in 2004, Homes for Our Troops has completed 110 home building projects. There are, however, thousands of severely injured veterans in this country who could benefit from the gift of a specially adapted home, restoring their freedom and independence.

On Sunday April 29th from 1 – 4 P.M., a fundraising event is being held at the beautiful Uproot Restaurant in Warren Township, New Jersey. A tax deductable donation of twenty-five dollars allows you to offer your grateful appreciation to these Patriots while enjoying appetizers and desserts. You will have the opportunity to meet real heroes and celebrities from many walks of life in addition to making bids on wonderful silent auction items. To make a difference and show your support for these great Americans through ”Homes for our Troops” please make a reservation to attend, make a donation, or volunteer your services call Jeanne at 908-377-2209 or email Jeanne50@aol.com.

Please make checks payable to “HFOT” (note Jeanne NJ Fundraiser on check) and mail to HFOT at 350 Old Tote Road, Mountainside, NJ 07072-1840. Please join us in making this event a success for those who have sacrificed themselves and to whom we owe so much.
