SUMMIT, NJ - Residents possessing a family heirloom that they suspect has real value are encouraged to come to the Summit Historical Society on October 3, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., for a verbal auction evaluation and possible consignment of their antiques, fine jewelry, silver and art with Skinner Auctioneers & Appraisers.

Skinner's team of professional appraisers will help folks understand what their items are worth. Skinner is inviting consignments for the winter 2017-18 auctions. To schedule an appointment with  Fine Jewelry expert Victoria Bratberg and CEO Karen Keane at the Summit Historical Society -- who will provide complimentary auction evaluations and consignment of Fine JewelryAntiques Fine Art -- visit and a member of Skinner’s team will respond directly to set an appointment time.

High-quality photos are recommended for large or particularly fragile items. Reservations highly recommended though walk-ins will be accommodated as time allows.
