T’is the season to enjoy cherished moments with family, come together for a celebration with your local community, or help those in need.  At the Summit Area YMCA, the holiday season is all wrapped up into celebrations of fun and kindness with activities, events, and holiday specials the whole family can enjoy!

Find warmth from the cold by stepping through the doors and into the Y! The Summit Area YMCA provides a variety of fun holiday activities, events and specials throughout the winter season. Join us this winter!

Our season kicks off on Saturday December 7th at our Annual Tree Lighting & Party with Santa. Join us for a night of fun, music, tasty treats, and giving back as we will be collecting Men’s Hats & Gloves for Bridges Outreach! Please be sure to bring a pair! But the fun is only just begining, that same afternoon, on December 7th, Togetherhood will be hosting a Special Holiday Themed Senior Spa. Senior Spa days don’t only allow for a little bit of pampering but offer physical benefits such as pain relief from arthritis and improved circulation in a relaxed and social environment.

No holiday season would be complete without some quality time with the man himself, Santa! On December 14th Santa will be joining us for breakfast at the Berkeley Heights YMCA. But if you cannot make that date, no worries! He will be visiting the Summit YMCA the next day, December 15th, for Cookies and Cocoa... Speaking of cookies... Join us on December 14th for our Annual and hugely successful Holiday Cookie Walk where for a small donation you can take home a box of delicious holiday cookies. For our seniors, on December 16th you can grab an amazing lunch at Piattino's restaurant at the Senior Holiday Luncheon hosted by the Summit YMCA.

For the entire month of December, if you donate just 2 cans of food at the Summit YMCA, you have the chance to win an awesome Wellness Basket.
