Imagine, A Center for Coping with Loss is hosting a community-wide evening of remembrance in recognition of Children's Grief Awareness Day. "Our mission is to support people coping with loss and to foster resiliency," said Mary Robinson, Executive Director of Imagine, a year-round grief support for children and adults who are coping with the death or illness of a family member or friend. "In addition to providing peer grief support groups and education, we want to facilitate conversations about grief and loss as a way to normalize grief in our communities and ensure children and teens especially get the support they need after any painful loss."
Join Imagine for "i Remember -- An Evening of Hospitality, Healing and Hope" on Thursday November 15th from 6:30 - 9 PM, as we remember the people in our lives who have died, and celebrate the resilience and healing of those who grieve. There will be fun activities for children of all ages and delicious refreshments courtesy of First United Methodist Church and downtown Westfield eateries.
This event is open to children and people of all ages in the community and is in recognition of Children's Grief Awareness Day.
