Open to all members of the community, please join Imagine for a workshop on Fostering Resilience in Grieving Children, and invite your friends and family.  The workshop is ideal for parents, caregivers, social workers, teachers and therapists. CE credits are available for social workers.  The workshop will be held on October 26th from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Let us know if you’d like to arrive at 6:15 and join us for pizza supper.  While the workshop is free, a donation of $20 is suggested.

The workshop is designed to normalize grief and loss and create resilient communities able to support all those who grieve during times of loss and life transition. You will receive information on grief and loss, its impact on children and teens, the role shame plays as part of many people's experience of grief, and what you can do to support children (or adults) coping with a loss.

Providing education and training is essential to our mission.  We hope you'll come and experience just one aspect of what Imagine is doing to build Good Mourning™ Communities. Please RSVP by calling Imagine at 908-264-3100 or emailing connie@imaginenj.org.  Imagine is located at 244 Sheffield Street, Mountainside, NJ  07092.
