To the Editor: Since last year, there have been several meetings regarding the town purchasing land from the Little Flower Church in Berkeley Heights. The town council (6 out of 7) is considering moving the current municipal complex to this location. The council is putting the property under the Local Redevelopment Act. In doing so, this is taking away our right to vote on something that will cost 25 to 30 million. This will leave a big burden on many residents, especially seniors, and forcing people to move. The council says they will listen to the people's concerns, but they will make the final decision. Not only is this unconstitutional, but this is also a dictatorship.
