BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The Township issued the following report on the status of JCP&L work in Berkeley Heights:
JCP&L crews continue to make progress on circuits in Union County. We have 6,000 employees of which 3,600 are line-workers performing restoration and related work. We have restored 458,000 customers with approximately 48,000 remaining. Some 506,000 customers were affected with by these two storms. There were over 1,700 spans of wire and 650 poles that fell from the storm. More crews are arriving tonight to work tomorrow.

PLEASE NOTE: JCP&L will be at Town Hall on Thursday night, March 15 at 7 p.m. to discuss their response, proposed improvements and answer residents’ questions. The township encourages residents to attend. They will also live stream meeting.
