A night of comedy and “Fun”Raising on May 12th supporting their candidates for Town Council, Jeanne Kingsley and Marc Faecher, is being hosted by the Berkeley Heights Republican Municipal Committee.
Unanimously chosen by the Committee to run for re-election, incumbents Kingsley and Faecher have provided consistent leadership; building collaborative relationships, taking effective action with community stakeholders and achieving positive results.
“One of the important things to remember in this local election,” commented event Co-Chair Julie Lloyd, “is that in Berkeley Heights, local leadership is all about working together. Jeanne and Marc have always put effectively working with all citizens at the top of the list. They are taxpayers themselves, and understand that maintaining affordability and pursuing grants and alternative ways to fund projects and services is essential to that premise. Their efforts have garnered funding for Town improvements, parks and recreation programs and vital services for our Seniors without adding taxpayer burden. They’ve taken the leadership role in affordable housing negotiations, saving hundreds of thousands in litigation costs; keeping our small town feel and preventing high density housing from changing our community.”
This special night of humor features District 21 and Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick. Voted “New Jersey’s Funniest Lawyer,” Bramnick has offered his comedic skills to charities and organizations for over twenty-five years, performing from Cleveland to Atlantic City.
“Laughter is universal,” said Co-Chair Jessica Schmidt, adding “Here in Berkeley Heights, residents and elected officials are neighbors, working together for a vibrant community. Jeanne and Marc have worked tirelessly for all of us. A night of fun is a great way to get to know them and Assemblyman Bramnick. Join us!”
