BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Registered voters are reminded to review the ballot for the General Election on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Polling locations will be open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The names of candidates running in the General Election are posted at http://ucnj.org/sample-ballots.
Berkeley Heights registered voters will be casting their vote for:
- Governor and Lt. Governor
- State Senator
- Members of General Assembly
- Members of Chosen Freeholders
- Members of Township Council
- Members of Board of Education
Public Question #1: Do you approve amending the Constitution to allow veterans organizations to use money collected from existing games of chance to support their organizations?
Public Question #2: Do you approve amending the State Constitution to set a State minimum wage rate of at least $8.25 per hour? The amendment requires annual increases in that rate if there are annual increases in the cost of living.
Public Question #3: Shall the Township of Berkeley Heights actively seek the secession from the County of Union and annexation to the County of Morris, including the authorization of all required actions by political, elected and appointed officials to obtain the required State Legislative action to accomplish such secession and annexation.
