Governor Livingston’s girls swim team continued its winning streak in a match up against Union Thursday afternoon, finishing strong with a final score of 96 to 59.
The girls swept the 200 IM with Kate Curran, Taylor Rooney and Ashley Kim taking first, second and third.
The sweeps continued in the 100 butterfly with Danielle Curtis (first), Charlotte Roder (second) and Ella Ferrigno (third) and in the 500 free with Rachel Heeren (first), Ashley Chang (second) and Amanda Polizzi (third).
Gov. Livingston head coach David Closs highlighted sophomore Kelly Williams’ personal best times in the 200 freestyle where she came in second place and in the 100 backstroke where she finished fourth. Her dedication to practice was evident in her swims, Coach Closs said.
The swim team will take on New Providence on Tuesday afternoon at Berkeley Aquatic.
