To the editor:
In its latest attempt to force the land swap on Berkeley Heights citizens, at the June 23, 2015 meeting the Township Council repeated its scare tactic of claiming that it must take the Little Flower property or else the Township will be unable to control the density of housing on Little Flower land.
The Council is fully aware that there is a reverter clause on Little Flower property which requires that the land only be used for educational purposes. Housing is not an educational purpose. Therefore, Little Flower could not sell the land for housing.
