In the beauty business, every hair professional knows that beauty and hair are central to making a person feel confident and good about themselves.  In the fight against cancer, feeling beautiful is half the battle, and that’s why on Friday, March 30, 2012, The Salvatore Minardi Salon located at 8 Park Avenue in Madison, New Jersey will be hosting the 4th Annual Beauty Will Cure fundraising event.

On that day, one hundred percent of the proceeds from all washes, cuts and color at the Minardi Salon will be donated to the American Cancer Society to aid in the fight against cancer.

I would like to invite you to become a part of Beauty will Cure on March 30th by coming in to have your hair done.

Proceeds from the day will be used to support the American Cancer Society’s mission to eliminate cancer as a major health problem. Funds will go directly to fund services to help cancer patients and their families including programs for early detection, lifesaving research projects, and a variety of local patient services that the American Cancer Society provides.

Please join me in making Beauty Will Cure a success. The Minardi Salon is sponsoring this event in honor of my sister Mari Minardi Goldberg, who passed away from breast cancer in 2004. Perhaps there is someone in your life who you would like to honor by participating in Beauty Will Cure?  If so, please bring a photo or a poem or something to remember them by.

With one wash, one color and one haircut, you can help change the world.  This year, with your participation, we will be one small town in New Jersey that is trying to make a difference. Next year, I hope to get other salons involved, and in a few years, I’d like to see the entire beauty industry setting aside one day to help fund cancer research.

If you are interested in participating in Beauty Will Cure, please call (973) 443-4455 or SalvatoreMadison@aol.com;

Thank you sincerely for your compassion and generosity.

Sincerely,
Salvatore Minardi
