Madison's Healthy Italia Opens Much Anticipated Cooking School June 23

MADISON, NJ - Three months after opening the retail and Italian language studio at 55 Main Street in Madison, Healthy Italia – La Buona Cucina will open and kick off it's much anticipated cooking school on June 23 with its inaugural class "Cucina Con L’Olio — Cooking with Extra Virgin Olive Oil." This "Ladies Night Out" class will be held from 6:30p.m. to 9 p.m.

"A variety of classes are scheduled for the summer including date night workshops with wine pairings, cooking demonstrations, hands-on workshops and classes that focus on regional specialties," said Lisa Sanderson, Marketing Director.

Class titles include Estate Italiana (Summer in Italy), Vacanze Romane (Roman Holiday), Cucina Con Cioccolato (Cooking with Chocolate), Antipasti Night, and more.

Participants can choose from a variety of meal options from risotto and gnocchi to roasted pork and veal saltimbocca.

"Each class is a unique Italian cooking experience that infuses the language and culture of Italy as the meal is being prepared and enjoyed," added Sanderson.

A full summer schedule will introduce the cooking school to the area. As well, Healthy Italia has a summer schedule for cooking classes in camp age-based formats for kids age 5 to 18 who love to cook or want to learn more about the regions cusine.

Healthy Italia - La Buona Cucina’s mission is to bring the experience of the Italian kitchen to residents of Morris County and the surrounding area. The owners are native Italians who want to share their love of their country, its culture, language and of course the food.

The market place, which opened its doors March 8, sells Italian specialty foods and products that imported from Italy exclusively for Healthy Italia, and are in the United States for the first time.
